Literary Non-Fiction texts

Starting in January we began reading and consuming attributes of biographies and auto-biographies. Included are writing responses to the texts, such as inferences, questions to further learning, important ideas, and connections with the reading content.

Procedural Texts

Today the boys and girls started reading procedural texts after an introduction explaining why we read these texts and how we use them. Today's reading contained a yummy recipe for making a fruit smoothie. I think maybe the students learned why it is important to follow the steps when making a smoothie.
