Below you will find a website where your child can log on to write stories.

The students end the year with creation and use of their own investigative powers. After choosing a topic to study, they write questions to consider during their reading, and then gather information to enhance their understanding of the subject.

Next, students write an opinion statement based on inferences they make from the reading on their subject.

The children then write an essay with as much structure they can muster. We consider the five paragraph essay for this. What a challenge for second graders to take on. Of course, children can choose to use technology to create a presentation or make a their own book for the classroom library.
